 Capt Dave
Chieffo has over 30 years of fishing experience. He is
an active and successful tournament angler, competing in FLW
and ASA series, IGFA qualifying events, and numerous
regional competitions from Maine to Virginia. Capt

He has a
USCG Masters Licence and is First Aid/CPR trained and
certified. He is a Triton Boats pro-staff member and
the captain of Team Triton.

 Capt
Dave was born on the Connecticut shoreline, and is currently a
full time fisherman and a year-round resident of Block Island. He
is an advocate of catch and release, conservation to preserve
sport fishing for future generations, and a strong supporter of
sport fishing as a family activity, introducing children to the
sport at a young age.
Capt Dave
also has experience fishing in Gulf Coast inland waters and
the "skinny" waters of Louisiana for redfish and speckled
trout!
 Dave
is also the team captain for
Team
Triton/Mercury. This fishing team competes in both
inshore and offshore events from New Jersey through Maine.
The team participates in the FLW and ASA
Striped Bass series and is also competes in
many other inshore and offshore tournaments.
